Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati rose on
the Indian horizon when India was
passing through an era of Superstitions, Social evils, illiteracy,
ignorance and slavery. He promised his Guru Swami Viranand that he
would spread the light of vedas throuhgout the length and breadth of
the country. As a true patriot, he acclaimed work "Satyarth Prakash",
enunciated the doctrine of India's independence by talking about
Swaraj
and Swadesh. After the Death of Swamiji in 1883, his follower
decided
that an Educational Institute would be the best memorial in honour
of their mentor.
Suraj Bhan D.A.V. Public School,Vasant Vihar was established on the
lines of public school education in the year 1984. It perpetuates
the memory of Shri Suraj Bhan Ji, who was a distinguished scholar,an
eminent educationist of international fame, a powerful orator and a
seasoned administrator. |
